Similar things were experienced by a woman named Shilvia Tan who is one of the top content creators on one of the big e-commerce platforms in Indonesia.

Although she is now enjoying success and living in luxury, who would have thought that the 38-year-old woman had a difficult life before. Shilvia shared her long and winding story with the media.

Shilvia's name began to rise in early 2020 after a video showing her lifestyle went viral. From there, Shilvia slowly caught the attention of big brands and was eventually invited to collaborate.

"At first, I worked as a traveling credit seller and during Eid, I usually sold canned biscuits. The important thing was to make money. Fortunately, my husband was one of the employees at a fairly large biscuit factory in Gresik. Until finally, I met a doctor and started my career from there."

"From that collaboration, I became an executive marketing at several well-known skincare brands. Until I became a top creator on one of the big e-commerce platforms in Indonesia with fantastic income. And now I'm also starting my own business in 2022, which will be launched soon," Shilvia recalled to the media recently.

 

 

1. Once Underestimated and Undervalued

Furthermore, Shilvia shares her struggle to reach success in detail. When she was struggling in life, Shilvia was often underestimated, mocked, and undervalued by others, even her own family. However, she had her own way of rising.

"Honestly, it was from the pain in my heart that I could grow and reach this point. It turns out that being poor is painful. So being poor is really painful, we are not considered, mocked, ostracized, and often not valued, even by our own families. I once told myself, 'Come on Sil, being poor is not destiny, being poor is just a fate that you can change'. I made that myself to motivate me to move forward. Even though it was slow, eventually I could achieve what I dreamed of," she explained.

 

2. The Most Helpful Person for Shilvia Tan

Shilvia's success is not without the support of her husband. In fact, the beautiful woman openly admits that there is no one she can trust more than her husband.

"My husband is the most helpful person. I don't have friends, so honestly I limit my friends. My only friend is my husband. The person who got me to this point is my husband. He is my husband, friend, and everything to me. So there is no one in this world I can trust more than my own husband. We both started from scratch," she added.

 

3. Unachieved Dreams

Although she now lives in success, Shilvia still has an unachieved dream. In fact, her dream is very noble.

"My unachieved dream is to build a nursing home. So when I'm old with my husband, I want to manage a nursing home and we both will live there with our other friends. Honestly, this is my biggest dream that I will fight for," Shilvia concluded.
