Because he became famous, Marcow chose to break free from Mael Lee's shadow and try his luck by creating his own YouTube channel called Markocak. He collaborated with a content creator from Tangerang who went viral with his unique dance moves.

"Now I'm focusing on creating my own YouTube channel called Markocak and a joint channel called Becasun. The content won't be much different, it will still be about comedy," said Marcow, who was met in Jakarta on Monday (24/8).

Marcow is very grateful that the content on his YouTube channel is liked by the public and now he has successfully gained 127 thousand subscribers for his YouTube channel, Markocak. In addition, the man with the full name Indra Purnawa Setiawan apparently has the ability to write screenplays that can be applied to his YouTube channel's content.

"I'm really grateful. Because my current success is all thanks to my previous success with Mael Lee. I have also written a feature film titled MOLULO JODOH TAK BISA DIPAKSA in 2017," he said.

2. Reasons for Separating from Mael Lee

He also briefly tells the story of his career journey when he was still a sidekick of Mael Lee. With the concept of action comedy genre, the duo of comedians Marcow and Mael Lee were immediately liked by netizens.

However, the journey of the duo between Marcow and Maell Lee did not last long. In mid-2019, they separated and Mael Lee remained under the management of Anji (former member of Drive).

"The separation from Mael Lee may have happened. The reasons are not about material things, but about differences in vision and mission that always clashed with management. Many fans wonder why we separated? because after I left, there was no longer the presence of Marcow in Maell Lee's videos. But I appreciate Mael Lee and don't want to talk much about our separation," he concluded.
