Nunung Reveals Her Latest Condition, Recently Experienced Infection After Breast Cancer Surgery

Kapanlagi.com - Although she claimed that her post-operation activities went smoothly, it turns out that Nunung experienced an infection. Nunung surprised Indonesian netizens when it was revealed that she had breast cancer. Initially, Nunung felt symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and discomfort in her arms and armpits.

Eventually, Nunung decided to undergo a biopsy examination. After the biopsy, this actress and comedian was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.

1. Experiencing Post-Operative Infection

When met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta recently, Nunung said that the infection she suffered was due to carelessness in consuming food. Therefore, in order for her infection to heal, she was required to consume egg whites.

"Coincidentally, I am currently experiencing an infection. Because I was too careless," said Nunung.

"I am still a bit careless, so I have to eat egg whites for the infection to heal," she continued.

When asked further, Nunung shared that she had to undergo fluid suction due to the infection she experienced. She mentioned that the fluid suction process was very painful.

"Every person after breast cancer surgery often experiences it. So when the infected fluid is suctioned, it feels very painful, I even screamed because I wasn't anesthetized," she said.

But fortunately, now the infection has healed and as time goes by, Nunung's condition is improving.

"Fortunately, it's getting better now," she concluded.

2. Undergo the Last Chemotherapy

Although her condition has been declared to be improving, Nunung still has to undergo the last chemotherapy on Monday, August 14, 2023.

"Alhamdulillah, as you can see, I'm healthy, I have to be healthy. Yesterday after the surgery, the doctor said there is no spread anywhere," said Nunung Srimulat in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (13/8/2023).

After the last chemotherapy is done, Nunung still has to undergo a PET Scan that will scan the amount and development of cancer cells in her body. Besides maintaining a healthy diet, Nunung also expressed that she should not be stressed because stress can have a significant impact on her current condition.
