When asked about the news, Nagita Slavina's husband confirmed it.

"Yes, yesterday Ma'ruf Amin's daughter came to my house, Mrs. Siti Azizah, coincidentally her husband is my close friend who is now also a member of the council. Yes, she came to my house last week to propose that I become her companion in South Tangerang," said Raffi Ahmad when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/7).

He admitted that he was quite surprised by the offer. Especially since he had never been involved in politics before. Therefore, until now, he has not given an answer because he is still thinking.

“Yes, but I am also still thinking, it's not that I don't want to, but whether I am ready or not. I am still thinking because I was also surprised when it came yesterday. Whatever it is, if it's for Mr. Ma'ruf Amin's daughter, I will definitely support it. Yes, whether I become one or not, I will definitely support him,” he said.

“If it's about the election, it's at the end of the year. Am I ready to prepare everything like that? But if it's about serving the country, if it's already the time or destiny, we have to be ready, whether we want to or not,” Raffi Ahmad concluded.
