Officially Becoming a Doctor, Ibas Yudhoyono Graduates with Cum Laude Predicate and GPA 4.0

Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono alias Ibas's doctorate degree was officially approved through the Online Graduation of Bachelor's Degree Program, Veterinary Doctor Profession, Master's Degree, and Doctorate Degree Stage VII in 2021 at Bogor Agricultural Institute. This event took place on Wednesday (25/8).

It is known that Ibas is a student of the 12th batch of Doctor of Business Management (DMB) Program who graduated with a GPA of 4.0 and cum laude predicate. Previously, on June 10th, Ibas had conducted a dissertation defense titled Financing and Investment Strategies for Sustainable and Inclusive Integrated Tourism Development which was broadcasted and watched by thousands of Indonesian people.

In his dissertation, Ibas explained that the selection of the dissertation with the topic of integrated tourism development was due to the lack of specific studies that examine financing and investment strategies for integrated, inclusive, and sustainable tourism development.

Ibas's research findings have been appreciated by many, including the examiners. One of the examiners present at the session, Prof. DR. Ir. M Syamsul Maarif, M.Eng, assessed that Ibas's dissertation was very perfect.

"First, congratulations to promovendus Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono for producing a very scientific and perfect dissertation, and very business-oriented. Why do I say it's perfect? Because the methodology is very complete, multi-method, everything is there," he said.

Meanwhile, from the family's side, SBY interprets Ibas's graduation as a new beginning.

"For EBY, this is a new beginning for you, God willing, a good beginning. Ibas has thought about crucial issues in this country, such as the economy, investment in development, tourism, and at the same time providing solutions," said SBY.

The sixth President of Indonesia also conveyed his message through an implied painting. The painting depicts the sky at dawn, a new step on a new day.
