Officially Divorced from Kenang Mirdad, Tyna Kanna Gets Custody of Children

Kapanlagi.com - After undergoing a fairly long trial process, Kenang Mirdad and Tyna Kanna have finally officially divorced. The verdict was read through e-court at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (18/1).

"So, thank God today the process of examining the divorce lawsuit between Tyna Dwi Jayanti and Kenang Mirdad has been completed. This was marked by the reading of the verdict through e-court today," said Zikri Muhammad Luthfi, Kenang Mirdad's legal counsel.

"Basically, the verdict that we know is that Tyna Dwi Jayanti and Kenang Mirdad are divorced," he continued.

1. Child Custody

The South Jakarta Religious Court has decided that custody of the child falls to Tyna Kanna. Kenang Mirdad does not have any issues with this decision because he is allowed to meet his children anytime.

"Then custody of the children is given to their mother, Dwi Jayanti," said Zikri Muhammad Luthfi.

"But that's not a problem for our client. Because our client is still given the freedom to meet and the mother, in this case Dwi Jayanti, is not allowed to hinder or deny access for our client to meet his children. And also given the right to take them on vacation or meet them without any time restrictions," he continued.

2. Already Accepting

According to his legal representative, Kenang Mirdad himself has already accepted today's divorce decision. However, he will consult with Kenang regarding the possibility of filing an appeal.

"We must accept it. Recently, we have become more accepting. So we have accepted it because up until now, we have no objections to the trial process. But regarding this decision, we will consult with our client whether there will be an appeal or not," he concluded.

3. No Hope for Reconciliation

When asked about the possibility of reconciliation, the legal counsel said there is no hope. This is because the trial process is still ongoing and there is no withdrawal of the lawsuit from the plaintiff, Tyna Kanna.

"If there is hope for reconciliation, it is very slim because this is already the conclusion agenda. The process is still ongoing from the plaintiff's side because we are the defendant," he said.

"There is no withdrawal of the lawsuit from the plaintiff, meaning we just have to wait for the verdict from the panel of judges," he explained.

4. Ready to Become a Divorcee

Kenang Mirdad has not made any preparations for the upcoming verdict. According to the legal counsel, Kenang Mirdad is ready to be called a divorcee.

"The preparation is to become a divorcee maybe. Well, maybe after being declared a divorcee or whatever, our client is already very ready at this time. Maybe if there is no appeal, our client will be officially declared a divorcee, that's the only preparation," he concluded.

5. Already Separated Houses

Kenang Mirdad's lawyer said that currently his client has been living separately from Tyna Kanna. However, Tyna still provides ample access for her husband to meet their children.

"Tyna and Kenang have already separated houses. They are definitely separated but not far from their current residence. Despite the separation, communication remains good. Kenang is given the opportunity to meet the children. So there is no problem," said Zikri.
