Officially Divorced, Rachel Vennya and Niko Al Hakim Agree to Co-Parent

Kapanlagi.com - Rachel Vennya is now officially a divorcee after the South Jakarta Religious Court ruled on her marriage with Niko Al Hakim. In her divorce petition, Rachel did not demand any marital assets or custody rights over their two children, Aurorae Chava Al Hakim and Xabiru Oshe Al Hakim.

"No, there is no demand for marital assets, this hearing is purely for divorce. Custody (of the children) is still shared," said Tesa Prayugi Putra, the legal representative of Rachel Vennya, after the hearing at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (16/2).

Indeed, since deciding to separate, Tesa Prayugi said that his client has been considering the decision to divorce. Rachel Vennya just wants to separate amicably without any conflicts.

"There is no agreement. They just want to separate amicably," he concluded.

What was conveyed by his lawyer is in line with Rachel's recent Insta Story post. There, she emphasized that they will still maintain a good relationship and raise their children together.

"With a heavy heart, Niko and I are separating, we are no longer husband and wife. But the love we give to our children will not diminish, and all attention is still and always for the children," she wrote.

She added, "I know this is a disappointing decision, but life must go on. If Niko and I can move on, I hope you can too. Niko and I are now just different in status, from husband and wife to good friends who will both take care of our older brother and younger sibling with infinite love. (You don't need to worry, we'll figure it out!)."
