Officially Divorced Religiously from Rohimah, Kiwil: I Can't Live Without Polygamy

Kapanlagi.com - Kiwil and Rohimah attended the continuation of their divorce hearing at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (10/1). In this hearing, Kiwil pronounced talak one to Rohimah in front of the panel of judges, which means they are officially divorced religiously.

"Alhamdulillah, I have handed over all my divorce letters to Rohimah and the judge has accepted the statement letter, talak one. I have no objections to the issue, and neither does my mother," said Kiwil after the hearing.

1. Next Week Still Have to Present Witnesses

However, next week there will still be a continuation of the hearing because the panel of judges still wants to hear witnesses from Rohimah's side.

"But this is my first experience, so I don't understand. I thought today would be the decision, but it turns out the judge still wants to hear witnesses from my mother's side. So her witnesses will be present on Wednesday, February 17th. But I have already given talak to Rohimah in written and verbal form," said Kiwil.

2. Kiwil Cannot Live Without Polygamy

The comedian emphasized that his marriage could no longer be maintained because he admitted that he cannot live without polygamy. Meanwhile, Kiwil's strong desire is no longer heeded by Rohimah.

"If maintaining the marriage is no longer possible, it's because my wife is adamant that she cannot accept polygamy and I cannot live without polygamy," he said firmly.

According to Kiwil, polygamy is not just about wanting to have more than one wife, but he also has to take responsibility for his children from wives other than Rohimah.

"It's not about getting married again, no. I have many wives, many exes, but what matters is taking care of the children, my children. Polygamy is not just about wives, but also about children," Kiwil concluded.
