Once Invited Vice President Elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Content Creator Toni Cu Helps Increase Happiness Through Games

Toni even admitted to having involved the elected Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to join in the interactive games held in Semarang.

“I once invited Mas Gibran, our vice president, to join us in playing games in Semarang with me and Willie Salim,” he mentioned.

Toni has a noble goal of increasing the happiness index of the Indonesian people. Organizing interactive games is one of the ways he does to boost the happiness level of the community.

“My goal is simple. I want to make Indonesians happier by playing games. I plan to play in 38 provinces in Indonesia. I hope it will happen,” he said.

The results of the World Happiness Report 2024 show that Indonesia scored 5.57 on the Happiness Index 2023, an increase of about 0.3 points compared to the previous year.

At the global level, Scandinavian and Northern European countries remain the happiest, with Finland ranked first with a score of 7.74, followed by Denmark (7.58), and Iceland (7.53).

Seeing the happiness index of the Indonesian people far below that of European countries, Toni is motivated to bring happiness to his family, friends, and the wider community through games.

“Since I was a child, I have loved participating in the 17th competition and playing games. I am a competitive person. At office events, I always invite the team to play games together. Indonesians really love playing games, especially during the independence celebration,” said Toni.

1. Bringing Lots of Happiness

From game to game that he organizes, Toni realizes that both participants and organizers are equally happy to run them. “Finally, exactly 10 months ago, in October 2023, I decided to create content from what I love to do," he said.

"The goal is simple, to entertain others just as I am entertained while playing or watching people play games. Yes, I am grateful to have just started, followers on TikTok have reached 5 million, Instagram 2 million, and YouTube 1 million,” added Toni.

In addition to being a content creator nicknamed the King of Games Indonesia, Toni Cu is also known as a young entrepreneur who enjoys sharing basic necessities, household items, and even cash at the end of each game.

“I love sharing basic necessities, treating people at a restaurant, giving away electronics, and even motorcycles to those in need. The money I use for sharing comes 100 percent from the profits of my own business, which I am committed to using to help those in need. My principle is simple, sharing will never make me lose,” said Toni.

2. Hobby of Sharing

This hobby of sharing has apparently been something he has done for a long time. At his young age, Toni often shares with his school friends from the profits he has made during high school.

“I started my business from scratch with just Rp 50,000 at the age of 15. When I was still in high school, I started selling hoodies on Kaskus. Initially, I was a reseller for someone else's brand. The biggest challenge was often being cheated by suppliers who sent goods that did not meet specifications, which harmed many customers,” he explained.

With strong determination, Toni worked hard to save money to build his own factory to maintain product quality. Until now, Toni Cu has a hoodie business that is known as the best seller in Indonesia.

“Since I started my business in 2010, I have enjoyed sharing. Every week, I regularly provide free food, basic necessities, and assistance during disasters. Sharing with those in need has become my habit,” said Toni.
