The childbirth process was carried out by Nadine and Dimas in Bali. The choice of Bali was unintentional because they happened to have been traveling by land recently.

"Nadine gave birth via caesarean section. The baby's length is 49 centimeters, weighing 2.9 kilos. It was not intended to give birth in Bali. It just happened to be faster in Bali. If it took longer, it could have been in Mandalika," said Dimas as quoted by KapanLagi.com in a virtual conference via Zoom on Tuesday (1/3/2022).

1. Expecting a Daughter

During the pregnancy, Nadine Chandrawinata and Dimas Anggara intentionally did not want to know the gender of their future child. When the delivery process took place, Dimas expressed his joy because a baby girl was born, just as he had hoped.

"I found out for the first time during the delivery. The doctor said it's a girl. I was touched because I was hoping for a daughter. I really love girls and this is in line with my expectations. Touched because it's what I hoped for," explained Dimas.

2. Gender Prediction

Before the birth, Dimas Anggara played guessing games with Nadine Chandrawinata about the gender of their child. Surprisingly, the answer that came out was the same.

"I even made predictions with Nadine during her pregnancy. What gender do you think the baby is, and the answer that came out was the same. That was our hope," said the actor of several film titles.

Before the childbirth process, Dimas Anggara and Nadine Chandrawinata were nervous. This is because many predicted that their baby would be a boy, which contradicted their personal hopes.

"As the childbirth process approached, many said it's a boy, and it made us uncertain," said Dimas.

"We even asked ourselves, 'Is it really true?' Our prediction was a girl, but many people strongly believed it's a boy," added Nadine.

4. Only for Immediate Family

Nadine Chandrawinata and Dimas Anggara got married on May 5, 2018. They chose the Paro Taktsang monastery in Bhutan as their wedding location because it is considered one of the happiest places in the world.

After three years of waiting, Nadine announced her first pregnancy through a social media post in September 2021. Before revealing it to the public, they only informed their immediate family about it.
