Online Registration for Pop Academy at Kapanlagi.com is Now Open, Register and Follow the Following Steps

Kapanlagi.com - After the success of Dangdut Academy (DA) and Liga Dangdut Indonesia (LIDA), Indosiar is back with a music competition called Pop Academy. If DA and LIDA aim to produce new talents in the dangdut genre, then Pop Academy will focus on finding talents in the pop music genre.

Uniquely, the auditions and the entire event will be held online. And for those of you who can't wait, registration for Pop Academy is finally open!

1. Basic Requirements

As of today, Friday (7/8), the registration for Pop Academy has officially opened. At least 70 participants are sought to compete in the preliminary round. The number may change at any time according to the prevailing conditions and regulations.

Here are some requirements that you must note carefully if you want to register for Pop Academy:

1. Pop Academy participants must be Indonesian citizens.
2. Male/female aged 14-25 years (as of August 2020).
3. Have the ability to sing pop songs.
4. Have experience performing in entertainment stages.

2. Online Registration Steps

If the above basic requirements have been fulfilled, you can directly access the website POP ACADEMY and click the register button. After that, you will be directed to a page to fill in your personal data or biodata.

Next, you must upload several photo documents:

1. Valid ID Card/Driver's License/Birth Certificate/Student Card
2. Close-up photo
3. Full body photo

All three photos must be uploaded in JPEG/PNG format with a maximum size of 5 MB.

3. Sending Singing Video Recordings

The final step, you have to send 2 video recordings when singing solo pop songs, both Indonesian and English songs. The first video is a slowbeat pop song, while the second video is an upbeat pop song (order is not specified). The duration for each video is between 3 to 5 minutes.

Please note that you are allowed to use a minus one or be accompanied by 1 musical instrument. However, your vocal should be louder than the volume of the minus one or the instrument. Meanwhile, the videos you submit should not be edited or mixed, both visually and audibly.

And equally important, prospective participants must not be under contract with a record label / recording company / artist management. Furthermore, you must be willing to participate in this competition until it ends.

This online registration opens on August 7, 2020, and closes on August 28, 2020, at 24.00. So don't miss it and good luck!
