Only Owned by the Uchiha Clan, 8 Facts About the Forbidden Techniques Izanagi and Izanami That Can Change Reality and Destiny

After using Izanagi, the Sharingan eye that was used will become permanently blind. This is the price to be paid by the user, making it one of the riskiest techniques despite being very powerful.

Unlike Izanagi, Izanami is a technique created to punish users of Izanagi who abuse their powers. Izanami locks the opponent in a cycle of fate, forcing them to continuously experience the same events until they accept the reality and the unchangeable fate.

Izanami was created as a counterbalance to Izanagi. The Uchiha clan developed this technique to prevent their members from abusing Izanagi's power, considering that the ability to alter fate could lead to arrogance and moral decay.

Both Izanagi and Izanami require a high level of mastery of the Sharingan, and this technique can only be accessed by ninjas who have awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. This demonstrates how exclusive this ability is, even among members of the Uchiha clan.

Madara Uchiha used Izanagi to fake his death in the legendary battle against Hashirama Senju. In this way, Madara managed to survive defeat and continue his long-term plan to resurrect himself and control the world.

Izanami is not only used to punish enemies, but also as a tool to educate them. The user can force their enemies to face a cycle of repeated suffering until they realize their mistakes and learn to accept their fate.
