In the modern era where everything can be done without meeting face to face, Azriel chose a more gentlemanly way to court Sarah. Instead of starting the courtship through Instagram DMs, Azriel approached Sarah directly for the first time when both families met in Ubud.

"I was a bit distant, and then he was like, 'Hey Sar, let's go downstairs, let's talk downstairs,'" said the girl who had just graduated from high school.

3. First Girlfriend

Azriel turns out to be Sarah Menzel's first girlfriend who is only 18 years old. Therefore, Sarah admitted that she asked Azriel a lot about everything related to dating, as he is more experienced.

"Sometimes I also ask him, like how is it really to be in a relationship?" said Sarah.

"Well, he said, 'you have to be attentive,' what else? You have to pay attention to everything, basically he likes to be noticed in detail," she added.
