Kapanlagi.com - The name Pandji Pragiwaksono is already very prominent in the world of stand-up comedy in the country. Now choosing to move to New York, Pandji does not stop creating. He is confirmed to hold a special stand-up comedy tour from April to August 2025.
The event is titled Mens Rea. Ticket sales opened on August 10, 2024. Interestingly, the tickets were immediately sold out in 9 out of 11 available cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bogor, Semarang, Balikpapan, Medan, and Denpasar.
The fiercest competition for tickets occurred in the Jakarta show, where the DIAMOND category tickets priced at Rp1,700,000 were fully booked in 5 minutes and sold out in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the GOLD and SILVER categories priced at Rp550,000 and Rp350,000 respectively were fully booked in 15 minutes and sold out in less than 20 minutes.

The remaining categories, namely PLATINUM, RUBY, SAPPHIRE, and EMERALD, sold out in less than two days. In total, Comika Event sold 4,000 tickets for the Mens Rea show in Jakarta alone.
“I am very pleased to see the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people not only for my show but also for stand-up comedy performances that discuss politics,” said Pandji in a recent written statement.
Mens Rea itself is a form of IP (intellectual property) development from Pandji Pragiwaksono, with the main discussion being politics. In this tenth stand-up comedy show, Pandji will be more outspoken in his criticism and will not hesitate to mention the names of politicians.

For Mens Rea Jakarta, which will be held at the Indonesia Arena, Comika Event as the promoter plans to attract 10,000 spectators offline. Not only that, there are three categories of premium tickets in the form of special rooms: ROYAL BOX, SKY BOX, and SUITE ROOM, provided for a maximum comfort viewing experience.
“The level of stand-up comedy has become increasingly high. ROYAL BOX, SKY BOX, and SUITE ROOM are proof that stand-up comedy has been accepted by the public as premium entertainment,” concluded Pandji.
