Dina Mariana was a fighter recovering from uterine cancer that she had been battling since 2021. She remained spirited through it all.
"Last year (2021), I was diagnosed with uterine cancer in stage 1A. After surgery, it progressed to stage 3A. I have been declared cancer-free after 28 sessions of radiation," said Dina Mariana.
Even after undergoing a hysterectomy, Dina continues to have regular health check-ups every two months to monitor her condition.
During her treatment, Dina experienced various complications, including issues with her digestive system that caused recurring pain. Her close friend, Dewi Irawan, revealed that Dina also underwent a blood transfusion to improve her hemoglobin levels.
Dina Mariana is remembered as a popular child singer in the 1970s and has left a profound mark on the Indonesian music industry.
