Pevita Pearce Enjoys a New Role as a Wife, Now Thinking More About Her Partner and Shared Dreams

Pevita Pearce, an actress known for her role in the film 5 cm, is currently enjoying a new chapter in her life after marrying Mirzan Meer on October 20, 2024. The 32-year-old woman admits that her life has changed a lot since becoming a wife.

"My priorities are different now; maybe before I only thought about myself, but now I think about my partner (husband)," said Pevita when met in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta on Wednesday (12/3/2025).

For Pevita, building a life together with her partner brings a new and valuable experience. She feels that marriage makes her think more about the dreams they build together.  "Thinking about my husband as a unit and our dreams together, it's something new, something different and it's very exciting," she added.

One of the memorable moments for Pevita after getting married was having her first sahur with her husband during Ramadan. However, instead of preparing a complicated dish, they chose a simple sahur menu.  “No, it actually makes sahur simpler. We usually just have protein powder for sahur, because in the morning we're still sleepy so it’s not hectic. Now it’s a sharing time and a support for each other to go through fasting,” she shared.

Regarding her place of residence, Pevita admitted that she often moves around due to her busy work and personal life. She divides her time between several places, including Jakarta, Malaysia, and Bali.  "If you ask me where I live, I honestly feel a bit confused, sometimes I'm in Jakarta, sometimes I'm in Malaysia, sometimes I'm in Bali because I have a project in Bali," explained Pevita.

After getting married, Pevita also felt a change in the way she makes decisions, especially regarding travel or family visits.  "Maybe before I used to think more about myself, now I think more about family. For example, before I would plan to travel anywhere or visit family out of town without thinking about anyone else, now I feel like, oh yeah, the movement is as a teamwork, not individual anymore," she revealed.

Although her busyness hasn't decreased, Pevita admits that her husband is quite attentive to her condition. Sometimes, Mirzan even shows a slightly overprotective attitude.  "Sometimes it's funny because my husband is not the type to give many restrictions as long as I'm happy, but if he sees that I seem tired or there's something he thinks is too much for me to handle, like a difficult scene or staying up late, he tends to feel sorry for me," Pevita said with a smile.

Even so, Pevita and Mirzan always make time for quality moments together amidst their busy schedules. They enjoy their time together by engaging in simple yet meaningful activities.  “Quality time usually involves us painting together, cooking together, reading books together, and exercising together, that’s also one of our quality times,” she said.

When asked about having children, Pevita just smiled and asked for prayers. “Please pray for us, please pray for us,” she said briefly.
