"Totally different, back then I only had private classes twice a week, which means only Rp 400,000, and if I teach at a studio it's only Rp 180,000. If I shoot, it can be Rp 2 to 3 million," said Nanda Gita when met in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (12/2).
"Indeed, starting from scratch. During its peak, I could teach seven private classes in a day, starting from 6 in the morning. The payment also increased to Rp 500,000 because of certification, increased knowledge, and experience," she continued.
In addition, when she got married, Nanda decided to move to the Netherlands with her husband. Nanda started trying to actively become a vlogger on her personal YouTube channel. To increase her income, Nanda Gita also sells Indonesian cuisine in the Netherlands.
"When I was in the Netherlands for my YouTube channel, it was just for fun because I didn't have any friends, so I just talked in front of the camera, which I'm used to. Then I started selling Indonesian food in the Netherlands," he said.
"At first, I cooked too much. Then my husband said I couldn't give it to people (neighbors) because we didn't know them. So I decided to sell it, there's an app for it," she continued.
In addition, when asked if she has any intention to return to being an artist, Nanda admitted that she has that desire.
However, considering the current situation in the entertainment industry in the homeland is not like before, Nanda Gita feels that she is not ready to adapt again.
"Sometimes I miss it. But I don't know how the shooting will be if I return. Is it still the same as before? And now there are many new artists. Their viralness is from social media and then to TV, their attitude is different. Yes, there is a feeling of missing it, but I'm not ready to adapt to the environment," he concluded.
