The Djarum Foundation once again shows its concern for the environment by holding the Djarum Trees For Life (DTFL) Trans Java. This year, 8400 Trembesi Trees were planted on several toll roads in East Java. In the planting ceremony held at Sidoarjo Square on December 5th, two capital city artists, Gigi and Tasya Kamila, were present. What is their involvement in this program? On Wednesday (12/5), Sidoarjo Square was crowded with people because the planting ceremony for Trembesi Trees on the Trans Java Toll Road was held there. Moreover, Tasya Kamila and Gigi were also present.
Tasya and Gigi were appointed to be ambassadors for environmental preservation by Djarum Trees For Life on that occasion.
The process of reforestation is a very crucial matter in the mission to prevent global warming.
On that occasion, Tasya expressed concern considering that Indonesia is ranked as the second country with the largest amount of plastic waste disposal in the world.
Tasya urged the public to reduce the use of plastic in any form. Tasya herself now prefers to use a tumbler.
Under the scorching sun, Gigi and Tasya were not hesitant to directly help in the tree planting process in several spots.
