Last Friday (21/6) afternoon, Deddy Corbuzier officially converted to Islam after reciting the two testimonies of faith at Pondok Pesantren Ora Aji, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
Not long after that, Deddy immediately flew to Jakarta to meet with KH Ma'ruf Amin.
Aiming to ask for prayers, apparently Deddy immediately joined the congregational prayer activities at Ma'ruf Amin's residence located in Menteng, Central Jakarta.
And this is the portrait of the sacred moment when Deddy performed the Maghrib prayer in the front row, alongside Gus Miftah.

Done spontaneously, apparently before praying Deddy had a private lesson with Gus Miftah.
In just a few minutes, apparently Deddy was able to follow the prayer movements very well, starting from takbiratul ihram, bowing, prostration, and so on.
Although he cannot yet recite the prayer readings, Deddy appears calm and tries to follow the prayer movements carefully.
He even raised his index finger when performing the final tahiat movement.
Of course, this is a touching moment that Deddy has been waiting for a long time.
He even received prayer assistance led by Ma'ruf Amin in front of the media cameras present at this special moment.
