Herman, the guitarist of Seventeen, who was missing due to the Anyer tsunami, was finally found dead. Afterwards, the body was immediately flown to his home in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta, to be laid to rest and prayed for. His wife, who had been waiting, couldn't hold back her tears upon seeing the arrival of her husband's body.
At around 1 am, Monday (24/12), the body of the late Herman Seventeen arrived at the funeral home in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta.
Several artist friends were seen welcoming the body, such as Said Bajuri, Tommy Kurniawan, and Ifan Govinda.
Juliana Moechtar, the wife, immediately burst into tears upon seeing the arrival of her husband's body.
Uli, as she is familiarly called, seemed to struggle heavily in accepting the reality of what happened.
As known, Herman became one of the dozens of victims who died due to the Anyer Tsunami that occurred on Saturday night (22/12).
Initially, Herman was declared missing, along with the drummer. Shortly after, Herman's lifeless body was finally found.
Uli herself is still deeply traumatized by the name of a tsunami disaster, considering she had personally experienced the horror of the tsunami in Aceh.
The mourners then recited the Surah Yasin together to accompany the departure of the deceased.
Afterwards, the body will be sent to his hometown in Tidore, North Maluku to be prayed for.
May the family left behind be given patience in facing this ordeal.
