Before the wedding ceremony took place, Daus, accompanied by his son and extended family, first witnessed a silat performance in front of the building.
According to Betawi tradition, this silat performance is commonly known as Palang Pintu, which is usually performed at official events to welcome guests or accompany guests at weddings.
Despite appearing nervous, Daus remained calm as he entered Aisiah Building in the Beji area of Depok. He even wiped the sweat off his son's face.
While sitting in front of the officiant, Daus still managed to smile and look at the guests behind him.
Until finally, the long-awaited time arrived. The marriage contract process took place where Daus answered the marriage proposal.
"I accept the marriage and the marriage of Selviana Hana Wijaya, daughter of Cecep Wijaya, with the dowry mentioned in cash," said Daus confidently.
Successfully saying the marriage proposal in just one breath, Daus finally felt relieved when the officiant and the witnesses shouted the word 'valid'.
What's even more touching, Daus even cried immediately after the officiant led the prayer after his marriage was declared valid.
Previously, he admitted, "Daus mentally prepared to get rid of nervousness. It's better for Daus to joke in front of thousands of viewers rather than doing this."
The wedding dowry itself consists of eleven grams of gold and a set of prayer tools.
This is the third marriage for Daus after previously failing to build a household with Yunita Lestari and Rahandini Astria Astrinatri. Hopefully, this marriage will be the last and forever! ;)
