After Luna Maya officially married Maxime Bouttier on May 7, 2025, in Bali, many people are curious about when this couple will have children. However, Luna Maya emphasizes that she and Maxime are not in a hurry to have kids.

When met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (17/5/2025), Luna stated that they are still enjoying their early days as a married couple and have not prioritized a pregnancy program.

According to Luna, the decision to postpone having children is not without reason. She wants to focus first on adjusting to their new life as a married couple, including matters of living arrangements and the division of roles at home.

"There are so many things that need to be taken care of first, especially regarding living arrangements and how we adapt to each other," she explained.

Maxime Bouttier, who is next to Luna, also agrees with the decision. He fully supports the adaptation process they are going through before planning for bigger things. "We’re just taking it slow," Maxime said briefly.

Luna added that she does not want to rush into making big decisions like having children. She wants everything to happen naturally and in its own time.

"When asked about kids nowadays, I feel like... I don't really know how to answer that," she said.

However, Luna does not rule out the possibility of thinking about it in the future. She mentioned that the plan to have children will be considered after their household life is more stable.

"Once we both have settled down, we decide, maybe we want to save for a new house or whatever and move forward, especially regarding children," she said.

The couple also agreed to approach their marriage in a relaxed and thoughtful manner, without pressure from their surroundings.
