Playing in the Remake of Korean Film 'MY SASSY GIRL', Tiara Andini is Happy to Look Beautiful on the Big Screen

Kapanlagi.com - Tiara Andini is known as a singer from the talent search show Indonesian Idol. However, in the past year, she has succeeded in making her fans cheer when she announced her acting debut on the big screen.

Not half-hearted, Tiara was involved in the remake of the South Korean film titled MY SASSY GIRL. She was trusted as the main character named Sissy, which in the original version was played by actress Jun Ji Hyun.

1. Reasons Why the Producer Chose Tiara Andini

Frederica, the producer of MY SASSY GIRL, admitted to intentionally choosing Tiara Andini to be involved in this remake. Because she knew that the film industry needed actor and actress regeneration.

"In our opinion, we need someone fresh to play the character of Sissy. Besides, it should be known that we lack actors, so we need regeneration and the choice falls on Tiara, who is really fitting for this role, with this character, and she also likes Korea. Since the casting, we felt that she was really suitable as Sissy," said Frederica, who was met at CGV Grand Indonesia, in the Thamrin area of Central Jakarta, on Friday (17/6/2022).

2. Happy to Look Beautiful on the Big Screen

During the gala premiere, Tiara Andini watched her acting performance on the big cinema screen. Admitting that she was a bit awkward, she smiled and was happy to look beautiful in the film.

"I made time to watch and felt awkward because my face was so big on the screen. Usually I see my face from the stage or on TV, but this is on the big screen. Alhamdulillah, luckily I look beautiful there, like, oh I'm so happy," Tiara said on the same occasion.

3. How Many Films is Tiara Andini Contracted For?

Falcon Pictures production house often contracts new actors and actresses to participate in several acting projects. When asked about Tiara Andini, Frederica only said that there is only one title, MY SASSY GIRL.

"It's a difficult question because Tiara's off-air job is full, she will be informed if there are other films," said the woman who is familiarly called Erica.
