Due to this condition, the doctor suggested that Mpok Atiek undergo surgery to remove the polyps in her intestines. Moreover, the polyps she has are at risk of developing into cancer.

“According to the doctor, it is best to remove them as soon as possible, before they turn into cancer. Because, according to the doctor, there is a high possibility of it becoming cancer,” she said.

2. Strong Genes

This risk is even stronger because Mpok Atiek indeed has genes or a family history of cancer. Therefore, before it worsens, she plans to follow the doctor's advice.

“There are genes, my father died of lung cancer, my mother died of colon cancer. So, according to the doctor, it is strong, the genes are strong for cancer. That's why it's better to remove it before it becomes cancer,” she concluded.
