Ponidi is a resident from Jember born on March 28, 1999, who is currently gaining attention among social media users after his cover version of the viral song Sekecewa Itu spread widely. This song has become the background for many contents that are distributed on various social media platforms.
 
On June 9, 2024, through the PONIDI OFFICIAL YouTube channel, he uploaded a cover of the song Sekecewa Itu. The song was performed in a different way by Ponidi, with the aim of parodying the original song.

His unique style and Ponidi's distinctive voice in the cover version of Sekecewa Itu, with the repetition of the words 'kop sekop sekop' have become a phenomenon on TikTok and other social media platforms. Ponidi delivers this song with interesting remix music, and the music video showcases a natural theme with elements of water and large rocks, adding to its appeal and popularity among music fans and social media users.

Interestingly, it turns out that Ponidi has an impressive job in some Indonesian communities. Judging from the uniform he often wears, Ponidi is actually a government employee. He works under the administration of Balung Kidul Village, Jember Regency, East Java.

Ponidi has started uploading cover song content since May 10, 2024, through the TikTok social media platform. As of Monday, June 24, 2024, the cover of the song Cinta Bojone Uwong has been played 1.1 million times.

After the viral release of the latest song titled Sekecewa Itu, Ponidi's name skyrocketed and he was invited to several TV programs. The song Sekecewa Itu is a work by Angga Candra released in November 2023. This is Angga Candra's first song with a theme of heartbreak during his solo career.
