Portrait of Abidzar Al Ghifari Ready to Escort Umi Pipik's Report to Completion: This is a Law Country

Abidzar Al Ghifari asserts that he will escort the alleged bullying case against his mother, Pipik Diah Irawati, who is commonly called Ummi Pipik, until it is resolved. This statement was made after accompanying his mother in filing a report at the Metro Jaya Police on Thursday (22/5/2025).

"Going back to what I said yesterday, I was the one who sent the summons, I was the one who started all of this, so I will continue to escort it from start to finish," said Abidzar.

Ummi Pipik is known to have reported two social media accounts that allegedly insulted and defamed her. According to her attorney Rendy Anggara, the report has been supplemented with strong evidence.

"We have evidence in the form of screenshots of tweets from X, and also screenshot clips from the podcast," Rendy revealed.

Umi Pipik's party claims that it is not an issue if there are accounts that delete their tweets because all evidence has been secured. Rendy added that the deletion will not hinder the police investigation.

"Even if it has been deleted, it can still be checked. Moreover, we have taken screenshots of all those tweets before they disappeared," explained Rendy.

This report is related to Article 27 of the ITE Law and Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code. Rendy emphasized that the legal process will continue even if there is an apology from the reported party.

"Today we will conclude whether this is a legal matter or not, we have made a police report, we will wait later," he said.

One of the accounts that was sued by Abidzar previously made a clarification and apologized. However, this did not make the family back down from the legal process.

"If in the end everyone just tweets, bullies, and then just meets to apologize, then tomorrow it will be the same again," said Ummi Pipik.

Rendy also hinted that his side does not rule out the possibility of taking legal action against other accounts that continue to attack Ummi Pipik. "If there are still those who try, it is possible that we will report them too," he concluded.
