Portrait of Abidzar Al Ghifari Ready to Oversee Umi Pipik's Report Until Completion: This is a Rule of Law Country

Abidzar Al Ghifari emphasizes that he will oversee the alleged bullying case against his mother, Pipik Diah Irawati, commonly known as Ummi Pipik, until it is resolved. This statement was made after accompanying his mother to file a report at the Metro Jaya Police on Thursday (22/5/2025).

"Going back to what I said yesterday, I am the one who sent the legal notice, I am the one who started all of this, so I will continue to oversee it from start to finish," said Abidzar.

Ummi Pipik is known to have reported two social media accounts that allegedly insulted and defamed her. According to her legal counsel, Rendy Anggara, the report has been supplemented with strong evidence.

"We have evidence in the form of screenshots of tweets from X, and also screenshot clips from a podcast," revealed Rendy.

Umi Pipik's party stated that they have no problem if there are accounts that delete their tweets because all evidence has been secured. Rendy added that the deletion will not hinder the police investigation.

"Even if it's deleted, it can still be checked. Moreover, we have taken screenshots of all those tweets before they disappeared," explained Rendy.

This report is related to Article 27 of the ITE Law and Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code. Rendy emphasized that the legal process will continue even if there is an apology from the reported party.

"Today we will conclude whether this is a legal matter or not, we have made a police report, we will wait later," he said.

One of the accounts that was sued by Abidzar previously made a clarification and apologized. However, this did not make the family back down from the legal process.

"If in the end everyone keeps tweeting, bullying, and then just meets to apologize, tomorrow it will happen again," said Ummi Pipik.

Rendy also hinted that his side does not rule out the possibility of taking legal action against other accounts that are still trying to attack Ummi Pipik. "If there are still those who try, we do not rule out the possibility of reporting them as well," he concluded.
