Daffa Wardhana received support from Marini Zumarnis while competing against more than 35 thousand runners. "The happiness of parents is seeing their child happy," wrote Marini Zumarnis in her post caption.

Marini Zumarnis came with her husband, Denny Wardhana, to provide direct support to Daffa. It was not in vain; Marini's support bore sweet results with Daffa's extraordinary achievement in Sydney.

Although he admitted that the elevation in Sydney was quite extreme, Daffa was extremely happy to finish with his personal best time. This is the reward for his hard training all this time.

Daffa Wardhana completed a full marathon of 42 km. Not only did he finish strong, but this 26-year-old man also achieved his personal best time.

"The feeling of emotion, pride, as well as nervousness & fear all mixed together here. That’s what I experienced while being here. The beauty of running a marathon," wrote Daffa in the caption of his post.

What’s impressive is that, although he participated as an individual, Daffa Wardhana's success at the Sydney Marathon was dedicated to his beloved homeland.
