Daniel Mananta answered a question about his views on Islam by quoting a verse from the Book of Leviticus. From that verse, he said that there are three types of people: holy, common, and sinful.

"If in the eyes of humans, they only see good or bad, right or wrong. But in the eyes of God, there is holy, good, and evil. That's why God said to the nation of Israel to be Holy because I am holy," said Daniel.

According to Daniel Mananta's opinion, humans can become holy, good, or evil depending on their choices in life. He gave several examples, including when he was the host of Indonesian Idol.

"When I was on Indonesian Idol, God was watching me on Indonesian Idol, I didn't dare to joke or belittle His creation because I didn't want God to be sad. I, as a presenter, am doing holy work," said Daniel.

Furthermore, Daniel Mananta briefly answered a question about Islam. "So in your eyes, what is Islam? Something holy," said Daniel. From this discussion, it is implied that Daniel believes Islam is holy.
