Indra Bekti on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, underwent surgery for the third time. The operation was for the installation of a Ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VP shunt).

Ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VP Shunt) is a device that functions to drain accumulated brain fluid. The procedure is performed through a surgical procedure by a specialist doctor, by placing a shunt inside one of the brain ventricles.

After undergoing the surgery, Indra's younger brother, Cipta, revealed that his brother's condition is gradually improving. Now, the father of two has been transferred back to the inpatient ward after the operation and is now in the ICU.

If Indra's condition continues to stabilize, Cipta revealed that his older brother could return home in the next five days, namely Monday, January 23, 2023.

"If it's about 5 days from today. God willing, he can come home. He is very enthusiastic, even learning to walk and already has a good appetite," he said.

Indeed, before taking the action, Indra's condition had deteriorated due to fever. Moreover, the fluid in his head continued to increase.

Now, Indra's condition has improved after undergoing surgery. Cipta said that the third operation was the final step and now it's just a matter of recovery.

"I haven't been to the hospital yet. But according to Dila's update in the group, the condition is thankfully good. Communication is also okay. Earlier, there was also physiotherapy," Cipta concluded.
