Ira Wibowo has just visited the grave of her ancestors located in Madiun, East Java. The 57-year-old actress revealed that her late father came from a city known for its brem cake and famous for its pecel.

During her journey to Madiun, Ira also visited a street named after her grandfather. Ira's family in Madiun is a fairly prominent aristocratic family.

Ira Wibowo just made a trip to the city of Madiun. In the city where her late father was born, Ira visited the graves of her ancestors on her father's side, some of whom are there.

Ira's family on her father's side are Javanese nobility. From her ancestors, Ira holds the title Raden Ayu, but she has never officially used that title.

Ira visited her family's graves after a dance event in Solo. The distance from Solo to Madiun is quite close, taking about 2 hours via the toll road.

"After the dance event in Solo, I took the time to stop by Madiun, the city where my late father was born and the resting place of my family... this time, the flowers I used and received while dancing, I dedicate to my ancestors, whom I never got to know directly... they had passed away when I was born... but it truly feels wonderful to be able to pray there..." Ira wrote on her Instagram account.

From this journey, it was also revealed that Ira's ancestors include someone with royal blood. "In addition to visiting the family grave, I also paid respects at the grave of my ancestors (Pangeran Timur/Ronggo Jumeno)," wrote Ira.

She also visited a street named after her late grandfather. "Next, I intentionally went to Hirjan street...the street named after Eyang Kakungku, my family's old house is still standing there...since 1917...unfortunately, it no longer belongs to the family, as there is no one left living in Madiun," wrote Ira.

After paying respects at the graves of her ancestors and family, Ira also took some time to stroll around the city of Madiun. She visited the town square and enjoyed pecel, which is a local specialty of the city.
