Yesterday, Thursday (6/4), actor Jefri Nichol joined the student demonstration in front of the Indonesian House of Representatives building. He also rejected the Job Creation Law along with thousands of students in Jakarta.
Not only participating in the action, Jefri also gave a speech. The star of the film MY SASSY GIRL also threw a black umbrella and a rat into the courtyard of the Indonesian House of Representatives building.
Jefri Nichol joined the student demonstration in Jakarta to reject the Job Creation Law. Some moments of his participation were captured by a student and reposted by Jefri on his personal Instagram account.
Jefri participated in the demonstration against the Job Creation Law because he felt that this law has problems. "Actually, who do they represent, the people or the oligarchy?" said Jefri.

Jefri did not bring the rat that he threw at the Indonesian Parliament building himself. He obtained it from UNJ students who participated in the demonstration with thousands of other students yesterday afternoon.
In addition to throwing a rat, Jefri also threw a black umbrella. This is a symbol of mourning for the death of reason and humanity from the Indonesian Parliament which is trying to pass the Copyright Law.
Jefri followed the demonstration until late at night. He stayed in front of the DPR RI building with thousands of other students.
