Recently, Maria Ozawa wrote an open letter to the online gambling site K9Win. Apparently, her name was used by the gambling site even though their collaboration had ended.

In April 2021, Maria Ozawa, a former JAV (Japan Adult Video) actress, was chosen as the brand ambassador for the gambling site.

She promoted gambling several times on her Instagram social media. She even had her old Instagram account frozen because it was considered a violation for promoting illegal activities.

"When I had to promote their brand, I was asked several times to use my social media for their campaign," wrote Maria Ozawa in her open letter.

"As a result, my social media account was frozen and banned, where they (K9Win) did not provide any compensation," she continued, on Thursday (20/10/2022).

After their collaboration ended, it seems that K9Win still used her image and likeness in their website promotion material.

"It is also unclear to me that all assets produced during the collaboration will forever belong to them, to be used wherever and whenever they choose."

That, Maria Ozawa said, has caused significant damage to her at the moment.

"Therefore, I want to clarify and make it clear: I am no longer a brand ambassador for K9Win and have no connection to their company at all." she concluded.
