Nania Kurniawati Yusuf, or known as Nania Idol, has become a topic of conversation again after deciding to revert back to embracing Islam. Around 13 years ago, Nania chose to leave Islam or apostatize and became a Christian. This is the moment of Nania's return as a Muslim, guided by Gus Miftah.
During a live session on the Official Nitnot channel, Nania recited the Shahada on Saturday (21/5/2022).
During the recitation of the Shahada, Nania appeared wearing a white headscarf and was accompanied by her relatives. They held hands tightly while reciting the Shahada.
After finishing the shahada, Nania immediately hugged the woman in pink hijab next to her.
While hugging, Nania seemed unable to hold back her tears. She sobbed for a moment after reverting to Islam.
Nania met Gus Miftah last year. But Gus Miftah was already confident that Nania would return to Islam without being forced.
Nania firmly embraced Islam after massaging her mother during Eid. At that time, she thought, who would pray for her mother when she passed away if her child was not a Muslim.
Many people prayed for and congratulated Nania after she returned to Islam.
