Nathalie Hoslcher officially divorced Sule in mid-August 2022. Not long after the divorce, netizens highlighted Nathalie Holscher's daily life, which is now said to be close to Frans Faisal, the late Vanessa Angel's brother-in-law.
They recently uploaded a video of them dancing together on TikTok, after previously collaborating on Frans' YouTube channel.
In Islam, a woman who has officially divorced must observe the Iddah period. The Iddah period is a waiting period for a woman to remarry with a man of her choice.
During the iddah period, women are not allowed to excessively groom themselves, limit activities outside the house, and cannot accept proposals or remarry yet.
The purpose of the iddah period is to maintain the possibility of reconciliation and to ensure lineage (to ensure the woman's womb is free from the previous husband's semen). The iddah period that a widow must go through is usually 3 months.
Seeing Nathalie and Frans dancing together in a TikTok video, netizens reminded Nathalie about the existence of the iddah period regulation.
"Isn't she still in the iddah period, sister? #justasking," wrote a netizen. "If possible, it would be better to wait until the iddah period is over before posting content, to avoid slander," added another netizen.
In a television show, Frans admitted that he only met Nathalie when they collaborated on content on his YouTube channel. He was also confused as to why he was being called the cause of Nathalie and Sule's divorce.
"So (initially) Nathalie and I already knew each other, so at that time, Mama was making cooking content and I was holding Adzam (Nathalie's child)," said Frans via YouTube Trans TV on Friday (2/9/2022).
