The judge handed down a one-year prison sentence to the three defendants, after considering aggravating and mitigating factors.

"Aggravating, the defendants' actions do not support the government's program to vigorously combat drugs, the actions of defendants 2 and 3 as public figures who should set a good example for the community but behave otherwise," said the judge.

"Then what lightens the defendants is that they have never been punished before and the defendants admit and promise not to repeat their actions. The defendants have family responsibilities," said the judge.
