Sad news comes from the world of film and comedy in Indonesia, Sri Sumiarsih, a member of Srimulat Surabaya, passed away yesterday, Wednesday, (21/5) in Surabaya.
This sad news was reported by Bayu Skak through his personal Instagram account. He expressed his condolences over the passing of one of the cast members of his latest film, COCOTE TONGGO, which is currently showing in theaters.
Sri Sumiarsih, known as a member of Srimulat Surabaya, passed away on Wednesday, (21/5) yesterday. The comedian and actress died at the age of 73.
Bayu Skak announced the passing of Sri Sumiarsih through his personal Instagram account. He expressed condolences for the death of one of the stars in his latest film, COCOTE TONGGO.
"Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun. My deepest condolences, Ibu Sri Sumiarsih, affectionately known as Bu Mia, has passed away. She participated in my film Cocote Tonggo as the Mother of the massage therapist, and in Lara Ati Lokadrama as Mother Fadly. The best prayers accompany the family left behind, and may the deceased be granted the best place in His side, Al-fatihah," wrote Bayu.
According to Detikhot, Sri Sumiarsih passed away at Haji Hospital Surabaya. The late's daughter, Dea Anggita, mentioned that her mother died due to diabetes and kidney disease.
Dea mentioned that Sri Sumiarsih had been suffering from diabetes for a long time. Since she was a child, her mother had been suffering from sugar disease, and it had recently attacked her kidneys, leaving them functioning at only 15 percent.
The late Sri Sumiarsih will be buried at TPU Keputih, Surabaya. She will be buried next to her late husband who passed away earlier. KapanLagi.com expresses deep condolences for the passing of Sri Sumiarsih, may the family left behind be granted strength and fortitude.
