Portrait of the Ups and Downs of Merry's Life as Raffi Ahmad's Assistant, Formerly a Mobile Satay Seller Now Receiving Salary Equivalent to a New Motorcycle

In a Youtube channel with Melaney Ricardo, Merry said that she used to sell satay while living in the capital city.

Eventually, Merry tried her luck as a make-up artist for soap opera artists because of her friend's invitation.

"My satay rarely sells, there is a friend who invited me to work in a soap opera, makeup. Coincidentally, I work (selling) satay in Jakarta, while in the village I do bridal makeup. So I just need to deepen the character makeup in the soap opera," said Merry.

Apparently, this job is what eventually opened the way for her to meet and work with Raffi Ahmad as his assistant.

Merry mentioned that when she first started working with Raffi, she was paid 4 million rupiah.

Now, after 17 years of work, Merry mentioned that her salary can be used to buy a motorcycle.

However, the large salary she receives is also proportional to her sacrifices. She has to wake up early and be willing to not go home because Raffi once took on six events in a day.

Nevertheless, Merry can be said to have succeeded and experienced better financial growth than when she started her career in the capital city before.

Merry herself is an example of someone who can change her fate for the better if she works hard.
