Tiara Dewi became famous in 2016. She gained recognition after the public commented on her resemblance to singer Syahrini.
She was also known for her glamorous style at that time, so some netizens even called her Syahrini KW (a term used to refer to knock-off or imitation products).
She decided to wear the hijab after divorcing her husband, Lucky Hakim. Their marriage ended in June 2017.
Long time no hear, Tiara appeared with her new appearance. She now wears a niqab.
Tiara's new appearance was known when she appeared with her ex-husband, Lucky Hakim, at the Jakarta Metro Police to handle a fraud case.
She said that her desire to wear a niqab arose after going to the holy land.
"Actually, I just want to wear a niqab. After several umrah trips, I had the desire, it feels comfortable to wear a niqab like this," she said.
"There was a religious journey that made me decide to wear a niqab. It comes from the heart, because we shouldn't take it lightly," she concluded.
