Portrait of YouTuber Basuki Surodjo, Distributing 1,500 Food Packages Due to Concern for Street Vendors

Previously, a similar action was taken on July 24-26, 2021, with a total of 1,444 food packages distributed to PKL both online and offline.

The government's policy to extend the Level 4 Emergency PPKM period from August 3-8, 2021, prompted him to provide assistance in the form of food packages once again. Basuki Surodjo collaborated with 5 mayors in DKI Jakarta.

Together with the leaders of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and North Jakarta, when distributing the assistance. The food packages were also packed and distributed directly from Basuki's Raja IT Warehouse located in Sunter, North Jakarta.

"So initially we provided 1,444 packages and it turned out to be insufficient, and now in the second phase, we are preparing 1,500 packages to be distributed to the 5 Mayors in DKI Jakarta and the rest for my employees who are in the middle and lower class," said Cobaz to the media, Thursday (5/8).

"This idea was initiated by Bang Irwandi, the Mayor of Central Jakarta, and it turned out to be very beneficial. I will also directly participate in the distribution, along with several teams that have been deployed throughout Jakarta," he added.

Just for information, each Mayor receives 300 packages of basic necessities which will be distributed to all affected street vendors. Currently, this activity is still focused on the Jakarta area and the distribution of assistance is gradually sent every day to 1 Mayor of Jakarta.
