Komika Kiky Saputri recently held a religious ceremony and ritual bathing at The Tribata, South Jakarta, on Saturday (21/1/2023). This is part of the series leading up to her wedding day with her lover, M. Khairi, which will be held on Saturday (28/1/2023) next week. In the event, Kiky Saputri admitted that she couldn't hold back her tears when asking for her parents' blessing.
"So, it feels emotional from the beginning when reciting the Quran, I couldn't handle it, there were many sins. And then when it came to asking for blessings, I haven't said anything yet, but when I saw my parents, it was already overwhelming," said Kiky Saputri at The Tribata, South Jakarta, on Saturday (21/1/2023).
"The gaze of parents is like subhanallah, they are amazing people in front of me who have raised me until now with all the ups and downs of their lives, which maybe you also know, oh I'm going to cry again," added Kiky Saputri.
Kiky couldn't hold back tears when looking into the eyes of both parents who have raised her until now. In fact, the comedian who used to be a teacher couldn't even say a word during the ritual of paying respects.
"And then when I asked for blessings and was told to look at my parents like 'wow, these are the amazing people who raised me until now with all the ups and downs of life'. Oh, I want to cry again," said Kiki Saputri.
Kiky Saputri's success in the entertainment industry is inseparable from hard work and blessings from both of her parents. Therefore, Kiky couldn't hold back tears during the ritual of pouring water and recitation.
"A Kiky saputri is not born in luxury form. I mean, when I see, oh I can't handle it when talking about parents. The face of parents is like seeing Masya Allah, we used to be poor," said Kiky Saputri.
"Imagine living in an alley, still now. But the point is, imagine how we struggled together from zero to me at this point. That's what makes it very emotional," said Kiky Saputri.
Kiky Saputri and M. Khairi are known to be getting married on Saturday (28/1/2023) at The Tribata Jakarta Selatan. In the event, Kiky and Khairi claimed to have distributed 1000 invitations.
"The plan is 1000 invitations, but we don't know what will happen in the future. Suddenly there are people here and there (asking to be invited), maybe we will add more invitations, possibly," Khairi concluded.
Kiky Saputri looks so radiant in that happy moment. Her outfit also makes this 29-year-old comedian look stunning.
