“My mom wanted to meet in Medan. She went back to Medan so Roger struggled to meet her there,” explained Cut Meyriska in her interview on the channel.

Not only that, Cut Meyriska's mother also asked Roger to lead the prayer. However, this did not immediately make her convinced.

At that time, both of Cut Meyriska's parents did not give their blessing. However, Cut Suharnita was the first to give her blessing in the end. She flew to Jakarta to deliver her blessing to Cut Meyriska.

Their wedding was held in August 2019. At that moment, Roger officially became Cut Suharnita's son-in-law. As time went by, they became closer.

"We see that he is becoming more serene, maybe because his child is sincere. He does not want to be seen, there is no showiness, we can see that when he does something good he always hides," she explained when contacted by phone on Monday (15/6/2020).
