Previously Involved in a Breach of Contract Case, Jefri Nichol Reconciles with Falcon Pictures

Kapanlagi.com - Last year, the renowned production house Falcon Pictures filed a civil lawsuit against actor Jefri Nichol. The reason was because Nichol was allegedly involved in a breach of contract.

As known, Nichol was contracted to star in four film titles with an advance payment of 280 million. However, Nichol seemed to delay and instead got involved in another film production.

During several court hearings at the South Jakarta District Court, Nichol was declared defeated on December 12, 2020. He has to return the advance payment along with fines, interest, and other costs amounting to 4.2 billion IDR. This decision is not final as Nichol intends to file an appeal.

1. Peaceful Resolution

Some time ago, Jefri Nichol was known to be undergoing the latest production reading process under the banner of Falcon Pictures. Apparently, there has been a peaceful agreement between Nichol and Falcon. This was confirmed by Aris Marasabessy, the legal representative.

"For the issue yesterday, it has ended peacefully," said Aris to KapanLagi.com, when contacted via Whatsapp message, Saturday (19/6/2021).

2. No One Is Affected

Unfortunately, Jefri Nichol's legal representative is unwilling to disclose the contents of the settlement to the public. However, one thing is certain, there are no longer any issues between the two parties.

"I cannot disclose the details of the settlement. What is certain is that it ended peacefully and no one is affected," said Aris Marasabessy.
