Prilly Latuconsina Achieves MURI Record Thanks to Song for Covid-19 Medical Workers

Kapanlagi.com - Prilly Latuconsina's hard work in gathering a number of public figures to sing the song Semua Kan Berlalu has paid off. Recently, she was awarded a MURI record for 'Most National Figures Collaborating in Artwork from Home.'

Prilly who did not expect to achieve a MURI record, stated that the initial idea behind creating the song was solely to provide encouragement to medical workers. She hopes that her song can serve as a form of appreciation to the medical workers who are at the forefront in fighting against Covid-19.

"From the beginning of this work, we wanted to provide a positive influence in the midst of this pandemic. We wanted to give a gift to the medical workers who are the first to fight against Covid-19," said Prilly in her statement on Tuesday (21/4).

1. Involve 50 Public Figures

In this song, Prilly involves 50 public figures to collaborate. Prilly admits that she intends to set a good example for the society.

"No matter what their background is, the important thing is to join together in a work for the medical workers. Together we unite, staying at home and being productive is an effective way to stop the spread of Covid-19," Prilly explained.

2. Message to the Youth

In addition, Prilly also wants to give an example to the younger generation to remain creative even when they have to stay at home. For her, there are many ways to spend time while at home.

"At the same time, show the younger generation that even though we are isolating ourselves at home, we are not isolating our creativity," Prilly said.

The award received by Prilly was given by the founder of Rekor MURI, Jaya Suprana, through video teleconference on Monday (20/4/2020). Not only Prilly, Aan Story as the creator of the song, Jefri Stefano (song mixing), and Sandy Purnamasari (Executive Producer) also received similar awards.

"Giving an award so that what you do can be an example for others. Hopefully, they can surpass your record. This is what is called competing in doing good," said Jaya Suprana while showing the MURI award certificate for Prilly and her team.
