Problems with the Process of Getting Engaged, Roro Fitria: There is a Little Friction

Kapanlagi.com - Roro Fitria is currently undergoing the process of getting engaged with a man who is planned to be her husband. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, but she still maintains good communication with her potential partner.

"Piye, ngomong po ra? So I can tell you that we still maintain good relations, there were just a few minor conflicts. As adults, we leave everything to Allah, if it's meant to be, it will happen," said Roro Fitria when met in Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta recently.

"Even though there were a few conflicts, we still maintain good relations. We shouldn't break the bond of togetherness," she continued.

Roro Fitria also firmly responded that her process of taaruf (Islamic courtship) with her potential husband did not fail. According to her, perhaps the differences in character and cultural backgrounds caused the friction to occur.

"It's not a failure, so we can say that we're taking a break. The communication is still good, maybe because I'm very Javanese, and he's from Sumatra, so there might be some friction. It's not a problem for him, but for me, it's like a little obstacle. It all goes back to a character that cannot be forced. Maybe the characteristics from outside of Java are different," she said.

2. Roro's Hope

Furthermore, Roro did not mention that she failed to target marriage after her conditional release process was completed. She only prays that Allah can bring them together and unite them.

"No, it's not a failure. We still communicate, we try to work it out, whether there's a mutual longing and whether Allah will bring us together again or not," she concluded.
