Protest Against Extended PPKM Using Bikini, Dinar Candy Detained by Police - Younger Brother Becomes a Witness for Recording

Kapanlagi.com - Yesterday, on Wednesday (8/4/2021) in Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, Dinar Candy did a controversial act. The woman known as a DJ and actress took to the streets wearing a red two-piece bikini.

This action was motivated by the prolonged implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), which she admitted had caused her stress. This can be seen from Dinar's action of carrying a sign that read 'I'm Stressed Because of the Extended PPKM'.

This action by the 28-year-old woman has now caused a stir. Because it was considered inappropriate, since Wednesday night she has been undergoing questioning at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Yesterday, at half past nine in the evening, we detained the person in question. Then we took her statement to be accountable for the viral video on social media," said the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Yusri Yunus, during a press conference at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday morning (8/5/2021).

Until now, Dinar Candy is still undergoing examination. The police will only determine the articles to be charged after conducting the case hearing process.

"Until now, the person involved is still being questioned. Hopefully, this afternoon we will hold a case hearing to determine whether the elements in the alleged articles, namely pornography and the ITE Law, are present. Because the person involved uploaded it on Instagram himself," Yusri added.

To conduct the case hearing process, the police will still examine several witnesses. Including Dinar's sister who recorded the action.

"The sister, who is also the temporary assistant, is still a witness because she recorded it based on DC's order. But it was Dinar's sister herself who uploaded everything on her Instagram account," he explained.
