Puput Pujiarti Officially Divorced in Absentia, Revealed That Doddy Sudrajat Cannot Provide Child Support

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce lawsuit filed by Puput Pujiarti against Doddy Sudrajat was held again on Monday (11/4/2022). Held at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, the agenda was to hear testimony from Puput as the plaintiff.

In the hearing, the panel of judges decided to grant the divorce lawsuit in absentia. This was because Doddy never attended the hearing at all.

"Alhamdulillah, the court has decided to grant the divorce lawsuit in absentia," said Halim Perdana Kusuma, Puput's legal representative, after the hearing.

1. Partially Granting the Lawsuit

Halim Perdana Kusuma revealed the points of the lawsuit filed by Puput Pujiarti. In addition to the divorce and custody of the child, there is also a matter of child support. Unfortunately, the panel of judges only granted some of them.

"The court partially granted the lawsuit. The custody of the child belongs to the plaintiff or Mbak Puput, but the child support costs were not granted," added Halim.

2. Child Support of Rp 10 Million/Month

The child support cost was not granted by the judge because Doddy Sudrajat was deemed unable to fulfill it. It was revealed that Puput Pujiarti demanded child support of Rp 10 million per month.

"The child's expenses were not granted because the defendant has no job. So, it might be difficult to provide child support of Rp 10 million per month," said Halim firmly.

3. Reasons Why Halim's Council did not Grant the Lawsuit

Hearing the verdict, Puput Pujiarti revealed that she did not mind. Moreover, she could not prove Doddy Sudrajat's income.

"It was not granted, firstly, because the defendant has no job. Secondly, we cannot prove that his income is sufficient to meet Rp 10 million per month," said Halim.
