Quiet Job Gigs in the Middle of the Pandemic, Tiwi Former T2 Tries Acting

In her debut, former T2 member is involved in the latest soap opera on ANTV titled Belenggu Dua Hati. In this soap opera produced by Multivision Plus, Tiwi plays the role of Willa. A woman who is married to Agung (Teddy Syach) secretly.

Tiwi said that being involved in the soap opera Belenggu Dua Hati is a blessing in the midst of the pandemic. Moreover, during this pandemic, singing gigs have been canceled.

"I'm here as Willa. I accept it because I consider it a blessing during the pandemic. Because many off-air singing activities outside the city have been stopped. So I took the opportunity for my first soap opera," said Tiwi when contacted by Kapanlagi.com on Thursday, (13/8/2020).

1. Acting with Senior Artists

In this soap opera, Tiwi acts alongside senior artists who have experience in the world of soap operas, namely Teddy Syach. As a newcomer in the world of acting, Tiwi admits that she is very happy to be able to act alongside other actors. Moreover, Tiwi also gained a lot of knowledge, especially in acting.

"It's very enjoyable. I learned a lot because they were not stingy with their knowledge. Discussions help create an atmosphere so that the emotions don't break. I'm happy because all the actors in Belenggu Dua Hati are enjoyable," said Tiwi.

2. First Time Acting in a Soap Opera

Indeed, this is Tiwi's first time acting in a soap opera. However, when it comes to acting itself, Tiwi has actually received basic acting lessons when she participated in the talent search event AFI 2005. Nevertheless, Tiwi continues to learn in order to hone her acting skills.

"Until now, I am still learning because the most difficult thing is to act naturally in portraying a character, and the soul must be united. In AFI, there were acting classes, so at least I got some basic theory, but most of the learning is done on location. I receive guidance from the director and have discussions with other actors. As long as we know what the character is like," Tiwi concluded.

The soap opera Belenggu Dua Hati premiered on August 6, 2020, on ANTV. In addition to Tiwi and Teddy Syach, several other artists are also involved in the soap opera. They are Rosiana Dewi, Raquel Katie, Andi Arsyil, and many others.
