The news, which was reposted by one of the gossip accounts, showed a photo of Rachel Maryam lying in a hospital. Netizens flooded the post with prayers for Rachel Maryam's recovery.
"Please pray for Rachel Maryam, a member of the Central DPT/Artist from Gerindra who is currently in a coma after giving birth.. Al-Fatihah Syafakillah," wrote the account @stevanie_huangg, which was reposted by @lambe_turah but has been deleted.
Shortly after the post was uploaded, Rachel Maryam's family spoke out through the comment section. Tamara Aisyah Sayidina, who is Rachel's biological sister, confirmed that the news about her sister's condition is not true.
"Thank you for the prayers from everyone for my sister @rachelmaryams. Alhamdulillah, Kak Rachel is not in a coma, but she is in the process of recovery after the operation.. and thankfully, she is conscious and not in a coma," said Tamara.

The owner of the account @stevanie_huangg, who claimed to have obtained Rachel Maryam's photo in the hospital from a WhatsApp group, immediately deleted their post. They also apologized to Rachel Maryam for sharing the photo and the news that caused a commotion.
"To those who have shared the photo of Bunda Rachel Pink, PLEASE KINDLY DELETE IT. Let us pray for the best for Bunda Rachel, she is not in a coma and is currently in the recovery period after giving birth. May her pain be lifted and her status be elevated, and may she always be protected by ALLAH SWT.. Aamiin YRA.
