The cesarean delivery process was accompanied by news that Rachel was in a coma for several days. However, this was denied by the husband of the actress who is currently busy in the field of politics.

Through a Whatsapp message, Edwin Aprihandono narrates the chronology of Rachel Maryam's childbirth process. After losing a lot of blood due to complications, the doctor finally took action to make his wife unconscious.
"After the surgery, Rachel experienced complications that caused severe bleeding. This made the doctor have to take immediate action to perform another surgery to stop the bleeding and it was decided to remove Rachel's uterus," wrote Edwin.
"This bleeding caused Rachel to lose a lot of blood, which caused Rachel's blood hemoglobin level to drop and required a large amount of blood transfusion. For the patient's comfort, the doctor decided to 'put Rachel to sleep' or make her unconscious for two days out of the total four days she was treated in the ICU," he added.
Currently, Rachel Maryam has passed the critical period and is undergoing recovery in the hospital. Edwin also expresses gratitude to those who have helped, including Ussy Sulistiawaty who donated breast milk for Baby Eijaz.
"We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to the noble-hearted individuals, Mama Arum and Mama Ussy Sulistiawaty, who have helped donate their breast milk for our child Eijaz during this difficult time," Edwin said.
