Vien, Rachel Vennya's mother, responded to these comments calmly. She considered it normal because Rachel is a public figure.

"Well, it's normal, not just for Acel. Many public figures undergo changes and receive immediate comments. Anyway, this is Acel's life, not about how she changes," she said when contacted by media on Tuesday, (22/12).

1. Mother Also Opens and Closes Hijab

Vien herself admits that she also like Rachel, sometimes opens and closes her hijab. She often receives negative comments, so it feels normal if her child also experiences the same thing.

"Aunt has been doing it for a long time, sometimes in the story she doesn't wear hijab. It doesn't show our true selves. Just a little mistake, netizens immediately criticize. It's like if the eyelashes are slightly off, it becomes a big deal," she explained.

2. Not Interested in Finding Out

As for who is being sarcastic towards Rachel, Vien doesn't want to know. This is considered normal and Rachel is immune to various insults directed at her.

"I know, she will definitely be criticized. There are also many DMs. There's no need to find out, aunt. She already knows it will be like that. She has been active in the online world not recently, it's normal. I also receive many sarcastic DMs. My sins, our worship doesn't need to be told to others. How many times we pray," she said.
